Leadership In Design (LID) is a gathering of established design educators. Attendees will arrive with an understanding of design concepts and the challenges faced establishing successful design programs. Moving significantly past an introduction to design, Leadership in Design will provide the opportunity to network with leaders of the best school design programs in Europe and take deep-dives into themes that will transform your school by establishing better design programs, facilitating more design opportunities pre-K-12, and increase student engagement and learning throughout the school.
Themes of the conference will not be hinged on any one curriculum model and can be applied to a wide variety of learning environments. The two-day gathering will be structured to facilitate a series of round-table conversations. Instead of traditional presentations, table leaders will facilitate in-depth conversations about programmatic themes in design education. Attendees will have the opportunity to select from a wide variety of conversation topics, sharing expertise and leading dynamic table conversations and establishing relationships with other design leaders.
